Welcome to Communities in Partnership
Communities in Partnership (formerly CVS Community Partnership) aims to improve the lives of the people of Leicestershire, Rutland and Leicester City by encouraging individuals and organisations to work in partnership with each other, and with government, to build stronger, safer and better communities.
Properly supported, such partnerships can deliver more effective, better tailored services to the people who most need them.
Communities in Partnership exists to support the Voluntary and Community Organisations (VCOs) involved in forging these important partnerships.
Our objectives are:
- to support and enable communities and organisations to influence and improve the way services are provided.
- to provide services that help the Voluntary and Community Sector to develop its role and improve its performance.
- to participate and lead on initiatives that improve local involvement by individuals, communities and organisations in the planning and delivery of services.
