Communities in Partnership provides a dedicated team to support and promote learning and skills development for LeicesterShire’s Voluntary and Community Sector. It brings together organisations to develop a consolidated approach to developing their staff, volunteers and management. It also helps local organisations to access learning provision for the people they support in their communities.

Communities in Partnership leads on the development of the Learning and Skills Consortium for Leicestershire (VOCOLLS), which supports workforce development in the sector and engagement with non-traditional and excluded learners.

Communities in Partnership also provides a strategic voice to and from the statutory agencies which tender for learning & skills provision and is part of the East Midlands Learning and Skills Partnership, which is made up of the other East Midlands VCS Learning & Skills Consortia.
